LOBLAW STORE DESIGN
In order to increase traffic and sales, DMD helped redefine the Superstore’s brand proposition and simplify the shopping experience. The phrase ‘Food Home Health Save’ communicates the new store’s overriding offerings. A distinctive signage package includes both exterior and interior components. From price item signs to 3D zone signage, each one reflects the brand while delivering only necessary information. Finally, subtle architectural elements help keep the customer anchored and oriented in this very large 140,000 square foot store.
The test store, located in Milton, Ontario, is a refreshing environment that minimizes visual noise while powerfully communicating Loblaw’s vision for discount retail.
