BRINGING JOE FRESH SUCCESS TO TOASTERS & TYLENOL
Joe Fresh has proven to be a runaway success for Loblaw Companies Limited so it was no surprise when the company decided to apply the same design tactics to the hardgoods and pharmacy categories. DMD worked with Loblaw, Joe Mimran and Associates, and Bensimon Byrne to create a stylish, compelling, new retail experience for these very important zones.
Utilizing the new signage and Everyday Living branding, shoppers will find the space much easier to navigate. The graphics, while pronounced and distinctive, are far more contemporary and pleasing to the senses. They also reflect the design sensitivity that has made Joe Fresh one of Canadaβs leading fashion brands. It is anticipated that the new space will result in shoppers spending more time in the store and that there will be a subsequent increase in their basket size.
DMD liaised with the entire design team, as well as with fabricators, printers and installers, to bring this new program to life. This included defining the theme in terms of colour and scale, creating new custom fixtures and integrating the new design solutions with stock fixture systems in an affordable manner.
Loblaw are now in the process of rolling the program out to locations across Canada.
